Meet Courtney Middleton,
Founder
 

Courtney is the Owner and Founder of The Southern Touch Home Care and a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, including 10 years as a licensed RN. Raised in Augusta, Georgia, Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of South Carolina Aiken, building a strong foundation rooted in both clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Throughout her career, Courtney has served across diverse healthcare settings, including medical-surgical care, trauma, gerontology, hospice, and executive leadership roles as a Director of Nursing, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In 2024, a profound calling to hospice nursing became a defining turning point—one that ultimately inspired the creation of The Southern Touch Home Care.

As a hands-on owner, Courtney remains deeply involved in daily operations, caregiver mentorship, and client oversight, ensuring that every individual served receives care that is not only clinically sound, but deeply personal, dignified, and rooted in trust.
